Colorado Life Magazine has dubbed Paonia “Colorado’s farm-to-table capitol,” and it shows in our eateries and waterholes. Not only does Paonia bestow the juiciest peaches, apples, cherries, pears, and plums, some of Colorado’s best livestock also comes from this region. The word “local” isn’t tossed around lightly in these parts – local produce, grown by local farms, served up by locally-run restaurants. Does it get much better than that?
